Birthday Tradition Around The World

There are humerous traditions surrounding birthday. Some of them are described below. Some customs may be familiar to you while others will be very unfamiliar
In Japan people consider three. Five or seven years old children as lucky children. It is because they may participate in the ''Seven-Five-Three'' Festival. It is celebrated annually on November 15. During this festival, children and their families visit a temple. Give thanks for good healthy and ask for welfare in the future. For this occasion, girls and boys dress on their finest clothes, which may be traditional kimono's or western style clothing.
In Hongkong and some other Chinese communities, people serve special noodles for the children who celebrate their birthdays. The noodles are extra long to symbolize a long life.
People in Holland hang birthday calendars to remind them of the birth dates of all their family and friends. When a Dutch person in unable to visit a birthday Child on his or her special day, they send a card to wish the child well. Adults often bring a birthday cake to work and share it with their friends on their special day
